Cutting
From the lengthwise grain of
N-375 Blue, cut:
2 strips, 5" x 42"
2 strips, 5" x 51"
4 squares, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
From EH-07 Lt. Blue, cut:
2 strips, 1 1/2" x 40"
2 strips, 1 1/2" x 42"**
2 strips, 1 1/2" x 42", crosscut into 8 rectangles,
1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
2 strips, 1 1/2" x 42", crosscut into 8 rectangles,
1 1/2" x 7 1/2"
From EH-07 Blue, cut:
6 strips, 2" x 42"
3 strips, 1 1/2" x 42", crosscut into 18 rectangles,
1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
4 strips, 1 1/2" x 42", crosscut into 18 rectangles,
1 1/2" x 7 1/2"
From N-372 Cream, cut:

3 squares, 11 1/4"" x 11 1/4"; cut twice diagonally
to yield 12 triangles
2 squares, 5 7/8" x 5 7/8", cut once diagonally to
yield 4 triangles
**Note: If your fabric is
narrower than 42", join 3 strips end to end, from the long
strip cut 2 strips, 1 1/2" x 42"
Directions
1. Sew matching 1 1/2" x 5 1/2"
rectangles to opposite sides of each 5 1/2" square. Press
toward the rectangles. Sew matching 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" rectangles to the remaining sides to make one block. Press. Make
25 blocks.

2. Arrange and sew the blocks and side setting
triangles in diagonal rows. Press. Sew the rows together; adding
the corner triangles last. Press.

3. Pin one lt. blue inner border strip (1
1/2" x 40") to each of the side edges, match centers
and ends; ease any fullness as you pin the rest of the strip.
Sew each strip and press toward the strip. Repeat for the top
and bottom lt. blue inner border strips (1 1/2" x 42").
4. Repeat step 3 to sew the outer border strips.
5. Layer the quilt top with batting and backing. Quilt as desired.
Bind the edges.
